( the last year – selling business this year ) 50 years - never thought I would live this long. Looking forward to seeing who made it with me.
Not much to tell, you know I spent 20 years in the military and retired. Have had my own business for 30 years now. It’s been good to me and kept me out of trouble. However, it’s time to give it all up and work on my hobbies. Working on old cars seems to take a lot of time. The goal is to have my wife call me in the shop when lunch is ready. The business is up for sale and I have several interested parties. Hope to have the whole thing done and gone by the end of the year.
We have been so blessed by having all our kids here in the valley. They are all well employed, that’s a blessing in its self. Eight grandchildren and we get to spend time with all of them on regular basis.
Living in Idaho, that’s the life.
40 years - how does it go by sooo fast.
20 years in the military was enough. We then settled back in Idaho - Boise. Have been selling aircraft parts world wide to keep myself out of trouble. At the last reunion we had moved everything to Minnesota. Ruth took an offer to work at the Mayo Clinic. After eight years of that - it was enough. We came back to Idaho. All of the kids are married and we have two grandchildren.
