OBITUARY
8/31/1949 — 7/13/2018
Carol Ann Durbon, age 68, passed away in her sleep of heart failure on July 13, 2018 in Cathedral City, CA.
She was born on August 31, 1949 in Yakima, WA to Dr. Wm. B. and Annalouise "Ann" (Wallace) Durbon. They moved to Moscow, ID in 1954. She attended Moscow Senior High graduating in 1967 where she excelled in the business/marketing club - DECA. She attended the University of Idaho for one year and found her career path in fashion sales and marketing graduating from Patricia Stevens Fashion Career College in Vancouver, B.C.
She made her home in Seattle, WA and worked as a cosmetic sales rep for J.C. Penney, Borghese Cosmetics and rose to a NW district sales manager for Chanel traveling to AK, WA, and OR. She later became a real estate broker for Coldwell Banker Bain from 1997 - 2016 and held numerous offices in the local Washington Assoc. of Realtors attending national conventions.
She retired to the Palm Springs area the last couple of years.
She was adept at interior design and upholstering. Hobbies included reading, snow skiing, travel, golfing, tennis and bridge.
Her many friends in Seattle and Palm Springs were important to her and she loved to entertain. She is survived by a sister, Dayle Durbon of Seattle.
A celebration of life was held privately. Remembrances in her name can be made to The Humane Society
