Jennifer – Political consultant in Carpinteria CA, Married to Jonathan Cooper and mother to our favorite (and only) granddaughter Maya.
Alison – Executive with an advertising media planning agency.
Rebecca – 3rd grade teacher.

2025
In 2019 Ellen and I left Kauai and moved to our house in Sisters Or. I now do a lot of hiking in the Cascades around Sisters. In 2024 I hiked 271 miles. I am also a Board member and Driver Manager of Sisters Transportation and Rideshare (STARS) a nonprofit that provides free non-emergency rides to medical appointments for Sisters residents.
I am absolutely loving the retired life in Central Oregon

2017
I finally graduated from Arizona State University in 1976 after 9 years of changing majors and dropping in and out of U of I, Idaho State and ASU. In 1977 Ellen and I moved to the San Francisco bay area while I worked for Ross Perot at EDS as a computer operator. For the next 39 years I worked in the IT field in various capacities and at various companies including one of my own.
Ellen and I bought an acre of land in Sonoma Ca in 1981 because it seemed like the wine country would be a good place to raise a family. In 1983 we moved into the house we had built and here we raised our 3 wonderful daughters.
In 2013 Ellen and I bought a house in Sisters Oregon as a retirement home but in 2016,after I retired, we decided to move to Kauai for a year to contemplate our next life steps. So we sold the Sonoma house, moved to Kauai, bought a couple of kayaks and play in the ocean. The year is up but we are going to stay for at least another year and then move to Oregon or who knows where.
