Occupation: Administrative Assistant, Pullman Regional Hospital

2007-2017 – During these years I helped to care for my Mom (2008) and Dad (2015) and worked my full-time administrative role at Pullman Regional Hospital. Though there were challenging times in both roles, I am thankful for the time with my parents and trying to “pay back” all the love and care they had given me over the years. I have done some traveling with various friends during these years and always enjoy those experiences.

In August 2015 I semi-retired and resigned my admin role at PRH and moved into a part-time assistant role in Facilities. I now work with 4 guys and there is a lot of humor as well as building work being done.

This year I have had getaways to join friends in Ashland, Portland, San Diego, Reno, and Chicago. In 2018 there will be six of us cruising the Danube and visiting Hungary, Austria and Germany—can’t wait for that trip. And, in fact, next year may be the year I fully retire prior to the trip!

Life continues to be very good to me and I am thankful every day for my family and friends. Looking forward to meeting up with classmates at our reunion!

2007:
It’s been 10 years since we last gathered and I was living in Bend, Oregon. I enjoyed that community and lifestyle for three years and it was a place of

transition for me. In April of 1998 I moved home to Moscow, Idaho to be nearer my parents and my sister, LeNelle. Thanks to a lot of help from good friends Maggi (Alsager) and Ron Frye, I landed the perfect job and bought my first house to boot! I’ve been working for nine years at Pullman Regional Hospital as the AA to the Administrator, CFO, and CCO. There is never a dull moment at work -- including the several years of planning, building, and moving into a brand new hospital facility! I work with wonderful, talented people and am trying hard to keep up with all the changes in technology that impact my job. Retirement isn’t going to happen for me for awhile!

The Palouse is truly a beautiful place to live and I’m reminded of that every time I drive out to see my Dad who still lives on the farm. My Mom resides at Good Samaritan since December and I keep busy helping each of them as they need. We’ve been through many challenges the past few years, and, as hard as it can be sometimes, I’m very grateful that I live here and that we are still experiencing good times together.

I enjoy traveling and am working through my list of new places to visit in the states as well as spending time in Oregon visiting dear friends and family. In the summer we take advantage of the Idaho Repertory Theatre on campus and are greatly entertained--it’s been fun re-discovering Moscow. If my pictures scanned in okay, you’ll see Lynda Moehnert Vigil, Maggi Alsager Frye, Ron Frye, and me relaxing at the CDA resort. Also, me with my best man—my Dad.
