We still live in Moscow at the edge of town in a peaceful neighborhood with a beautiful view of Moscow Mountain and the rolling hills of the Palouse. I have been retired for 3 years now and my wife, Judy continues to find things for me to do. June 1 we will celebrate our 49th wedding anniversary.

Two weeks after our 40th class reunion I was diagnosed with cancer. While wrestling with one of our grandsons, my right arm was twisted which allowed a tumor to come to the surface. Once diagnosed it took one full year of treatments in Coeur d’Alene to recover. I am happy to say that now 10 years later I am cancer free.

Our family continues to live and grow in Moscow. Our children work at WSU, son Shon for Facilities as a Maintenance Mechanic and daughter Heather for Office of Equity and Diversity as a Fiscal Officer. We have four amazing grandchildren, Randall 25, Nicholas 24, Rebecca 21, and Charlie 20. Randall, the oldest just purchased a home in Troy but the other 3 continue to live in Moscow. We also have 2 beautiful little great grandsons, Landan age 3 and Oliver age 1. What a proud feeling to be able to watch them grow and build their personalities.

As for hobbies, I enjoy working on my cobra, going to area car shows and until recently playing the Bagpipes with the Border Highlander Pipes and Drum Marching band.

2007
After 25 years of owning my own auto repair business I retired and sold the property to the hospital. Choosing to try something a little different I went to work for Schweitzer Engineering for about a year and then on to Karl Tyler Motors where I now work in parts.

We are very fortunate to have our children and their families living here in Moscow. About 8 years ago we moved to the edge of town where we have an acre of land and a beautiful view of Moscow Mountain. With lots of help from family and friends we have just completed an addition to our home. I have all of the equipment from the repair shop and special projects there so I can tinker on cars of my choice.
