I finally found a job and life style that fit me very well. As many of you
probably suspected, I was destined from an early age to be a number cruncher.
The occupation of senior health data analyst pretty much says it all. I really
like my job and tend to work long hours sometimes. I'm married to a computer
programmer (third marriage for each of us) and we have a nice house and a large
yard with trees, flowers, and a big vegetable garden. We both like to garden,
but neither of us likes to clean the house. For fun we read, garden, ride
bicycles or hike, go to movies, and occasionally travel.

Picture--probably won't get around to taking a picture I am happy with, but I
still think I look just about like I did in high school, but with shorter hair,
glasses and a few extra pounds.

Current activities: I retired to spend more time on my road bike. It pays less but is a lot more fun. The picture is from this year's Skinny Tire Festival in Moab, Utah.

I also volunteer at The Learning Lab in Boise, Idaho. I tutor adults in English as a Second Language. My students come from around the world and are united in their desire to improve their language skills and make a new life in this country. I served in the Peace Corps in the 70s, so this work brings me full circle back to the toughest job I ever loved.
