Eric teaches elementary school in Yokohama and lives with his wife Midori in Tokyo.
Sylvia is horse trainer & riding instructor on the Big Island in Waimea, HI where she lives with her husband Mark.
Occupation: I spent over 20 years working at UI in various administrative roles. I took advantage of an early retirement package in 2002; at the time I was director of University of Idaho's internship program. In "retirement" I have done some consulting, taken on volunteer projects that interest me, and written a novel as well as several nonfiction essays (nothing published yet).Erol and I enjoy our home on Moscow Mtn. and traveling to visit children, family, and friends. Our recent travels include Hawaii, Japan, Thailand, France, Italy, the Bay Area, and Colorado. We have England, Spain and South Africa on our two-year list of places to visit. We sing in the Washington Idaho Concert Chorale, enjoy movies, books, and are grateful for the beautiful outdoors (hiking & bicycling the many trails in northern Idaho).
