Occupation: novelistNews: It can't have been forty years--no way are any of us that old! Most of the time since leaving Moscow, I've been living in the San Francisco Bay Area with my husband of 37 years, Derek, and our multiple cats and horses. Life has been very good to us in so many ways, and I feel truly blessed that we still have each other and our health. On top of that, I've been fabulously lucky enough to have made a living doing what I love most, writing novels: eleven published to date in 21 different languages. One, "The Outsider", was even made into a movie for Showtime awhile back, starring Naomi Watts and Tim Daly. The filming took place in Australia and was the thrill of a lifetime. Right now I'm finishing up an international suspense novel that should be in bookstores by the end of next year.
